You should reserve an appointment for a ride preferably 2 weeks in advance. In the off season I can often do rides on a
days notice. Fridays, weekends, and holidays fill up the quickest. My busy season is May through October.
If you make an appointment, but can't keep it , please call as soon as possible (preferably 24 hours notice) to cancel. I've had
horses brushed and saddled, ready to go and waited and waited....while no one called or showed up. Please be courteous! I don't want to have to ask for non-refundable deposits.
RIDES MAY BE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Weather in New Mexico is ever-changing. I will not saddle the horses if there is a wind advisory, storm advisory, flash flood watch or other weather hazard during any part of the year. Call ahead to confirm your ride.

$130.
This ride requires an advance deposit due to the drive time. This is an excellent choice for an overnight or 2 day ride.
The locations listed above marked with an Asterisk (*), require an 4 hour minimum fee, regardless of time spent on trail.
Fees for riding and/or trailering subject to change without notice. I have had to recently increase the cost of transporting the horses due to the rising cost of diesel fuel. Other factors include the cost of vehicle/trailer maintenance, fluctuating feed prices, farrier and vet services. Anyone of these costs can increase without warning and I have to adjust prices accordingly.
Overnight at selected locations:
$130 per person in addition to riding fee. No packing out. All overnight locations require set-up of base camp. You return each day to base camp for dinner. I provide tent, tarps, tables, eating/cooking gear,
firewood, propane, stove, chairs, lanterns, and other miscellaneous gear. You provide your own sleeping bags and pillows, any personal items, and lunches. I provide breakfast and dinner with menu choices that are pre-approved by you.

OVERNIGHT BOARDING
For tourists, vacationers, and people moving across country, I offer a convenience of overnight boarding.
This is not a vacation destination, but rather an option for resting while on the road for vechicle repairs, emergency vet visits, or just a few days riding in the desert. The available paddock currently is 30 x 42. It has an automatic waterer during the warm months and a trough with de-icer during the cold months. It is pipe corral on 3 sides and cattle panels on 1 side. There is no overhead cover. $12/night per horse.
I have additional room, albeit in my front yard, for a trailer parking space. Large enough for a 4 horse trailer w/ LQ. Again, not a vacation destination, but we have good trails out back and great Indian ruins to visit. Stay and visit for $12/night. Hook-up via a 100 ft extension cord and water hydrant w/hose hook-up.
If you choose to leave your horses here while you stay in town to get repairs, etc., rest assured your horses are safe with a locked combo gate that you will get the code to.

Fall ride at Canjilon Moutain.
